The beautiful rural village of Goosnargh is certainly very old and was shown as Gusansaghe in the Domesday Book, going through many variations of this spelling until the current version was reached.
Goosnargh and Whittingham Village Hall is located adjacent to the expansive and impressive village green, and is an ideal venue for local community events and private hire. Easily accessible from Lancaster, Preston, Garstang, and Longridge, it also hosts a wide range of weekly events each operated and run by private individuals.

Local groups regularly hold events and social gatherings here at the Village Hall, and they are always glad to welcome new visitors and members.
We are proud that with a fully equipped kitchen, incorporating two serving hatches, the Village Hall is well adapted to cater for hot and cold food provision and cutlery and crockery is provided. Seated banquet provision is available for approximately 150 covers. We also have a separate modern servery for hot and cold drinks and pre-prepared food. We also have a separate meeting room with free WIFI and great layout for groups to meet.
